Katherine is a consultant with a strong strategy background. She has extensive in-depth knowledge and experience in government having worked in roles in human services, justice, education and central agencies across Commonwealth and State governments.
Background and experience:
Katherine has five years of senior leadership experience and has worked for over ten years in policy and strategy roles. Katherine has strong skills in strategy development, research, analysis and problem solving, project management, business planning and stakeholder engagement and consultation. She uses her excellent people skills to build relationships and work collaboratively with her colleagues and stakeholders to achieve results.
Throughout her career, Katherine has led the development of state-wide strategy frameworks, led strategic policy reviews, undertaken policy reform and implementation, worked on Commonwealth-State negotiations, and created and led high performing teams. From this, she has particular expertise in government environments and understanding public sector needs.
Katherine has a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide. She also has a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management from Flinders University.
Katherine is passionate about being healthy and active. She loves to run and you will regularly find her at her local Parkrun on a Saturday morning. She enjoys exploring new places and finding the road less travelled. She makes time to dance every day, be creative and embrace new opportunities. Katherine loves spending time with her friends, husband and daughter, Anna. She is inspired by her daughter’s love of life and joy in trying new things.
